BMD Global takes a Consultative Approach which requires an initial 1 hour needs analysis discussion at Senior Management / Board Level. This establishes where the client company is going and how BMD Global might best add value to this process. As a minimum it is an investment of one hour to see whether they will benefit. Also, it may be that they would want an independent comparison with a current provider they are working with. Solutions are presented and a plan of action is agreed*.
Usually BMD Global works from the top down – whether this be with a team of Senior Directors / Managers to improve and refine the strategic plan.
Alternatively, with a group of middle managers – designing tools and skills that will work for them real world with their teams and get the results they (and the business) needs.
Equally, it could be delivering key programmes that are specific to the needs of Sales Teams (Key Account Management, Advanced Sales Skills etc.)
So that you our client gets the best from any engagement we work together on, it is usually a first priority that BMD Global comes in for one / two days to undertake some exhaustive research at all levels across the business before presenting a headline series of actions that the company should take. In other words, a “Business Health Check” or a “Strategic Business Review,”
BMD Global wants to be measured and we work with clients to ensure the return on investment is achieved. Performance Indicators to measure this success are agreed between BMD Global and the client company in advance of the programmes.
BMD Global takes a modular approach to the delivery of its development programmes. That way, delegates get the chance to try out the new found skills and tools and then to report back on the good and bad aspects on the next programme before going on to the next stage of the programme.
BMD Global will provide as a part of the package it offers:
• Pre and Post programme welcome letters
• Pre course delegate contract – ensuring client / delegate / BMD Global objectives are clear and agreed before the programme takes place.
• Pre course preparation for the delegate to bring to the programme. This can then be actively worked on and shared with colleagues – bringing the whole thing alive and making it relevant to them and their company.
• Interim review meetings with the client company. This ensures implementation of the tools and skills.
• Two way feedback to understand who needs further support to maximise the next stage of the programme.
• Group Work Reports – Documentary evidence of what has been covered and actual ideas and recommendations made / agreed by the teams.
This raw information is smartened up by BMD Global and put together in a professional document. This is then presented to the Senior Directors / Programme Sponsors etc.
The Group Work Report acts as a valuable management tool to ensure that the manager understands what has been covered on the programme (if he / she did not attend) and they can use this to ensure effective implementation and the new way of working actually happens!
